U12 Boys - Hustis

The GUFC U12 Hustis team volunteered at Foodlink on Thursday, April 3. The boys sat thru 15 minutes of instruction where they learned about what services they offer our community.  They worked on an assemby line of preparing bags of food that students from local schools receive and sorting food that had come in from places like Wegmans.

U13 Girls - Bisciotti

The GUFC Girls U13 Bisciotti team volunteered on April 12 at St. Lawrence Church with their annual Easter egg hunt. The girls hid eggs, helped children, and set up and served refreshments.

U16 Girls - Streber

On Tuesday, February 18th The Girls U16 - Streber team recently visited the Wegman’s Cottages by Unity Hospital as a part of their Community Service Program.  While there, the girls   interacted with senior women for an event called "The Glam Squad".  They were separated into a couple of teams and gave a soft manicure to the elderly ladies. They soaked, filed, polished and applied lotion.  The women that live at the cottages enjoyed their time with the girls as did our girls with them.

U17 Boys - Paris

On Thursday, April 24th, the BU17 team coached by Omero Paris completed the 2nd phase of their GUFC community service project.

The boys put in a few hours after school at the Ronald McDonald house cleaning up the grounds. By the team cleaning up the grounds it makes it easier for the staff to focus their attention on the people that really need it. The families of the GUFC BU17 team are thoroughly impressed with the caring and giving attitude the boys displayed. Thank you to Coach Paris for allowing this event to happen on the day before we left for an out of town tournament and for also helping out. The boys also presented a check to the RMH for $261 from the bottles and cans they collected on an earlier day. A big thank you goes out to Tom Hank, father of one of the players for heading up both days.
